A bit of history

Carrer de Sant Feliu, as referred to in traditional Mallorcan, takes its name from the oratory dedicated to this saint (Saint Felix). A mighty street of bygone times that has gradually transformed into one of Palma’s most attractive shopping areas. With a certain bohemian chic, carrer de Sant Feliu combines iconic architectural heritage with modernist buildings.

At number 1 was the home of Tomas, named after the Pedris Can Tomàs Born, the name by which the house was known from the XVIIth century. It was previously owned by one of the city’s most in uent family in the late XVth century. 

Modern time

The street crosses La Lonja and links Plaza Porta Santa Catalina, home of Modern and Contemporary Museum Es Baluard and gate to Santa Catalina trendy neighbourhood on one side; and El Borne (Born) on the other side. That same corner hosts some of Palma most high-end shops including Louis Vuitton, Rolex and Spanish boutique Zara set in a historical palace.

The landmark Rialto Living can also be found there, a famous living concept boutique in a very taste- ful design and expectional venue. As many other houses on this street, the building used to be a pri- vate palace and has been turned into exclusive shopping experience.
